The 2013 class is a very strong class on the wing and the best of them all is Jabari Parker. Parker takes over the new No.1 spot, because he can do it all. He will go down low and post up players or take them out side on the wing and score that way.

Coming in at No.2 is Chris Walker, a highly athletic power forward who knows how to score and rise on defender to finish at the rim. Walker has lots of potential and could end up being a small forward. Look for Walker to go after that No.1 spot in our final 2013 rankings.

Our previous No.1 Julius Randle, comes in at No.3. Randle is a flat out beast in the post and also has the ability to handle. Randle's strength helps move defenders out the way giving him the aility to finish at the rim. Randle does have an opportunity to get back to the No.1 spot, but he has a few things to work on.

Nerlens Noel has big time potential. He's 6'10 and can play the four or five. He finishes well above the rim and is an absolute big time shot blocker. Noel has big time NBA potential and as time progresses if he keeps working hard he also has a chance to grab the No. 1 spot.

Rounding out the top 5 is Chris Thomas. Thomas is among one of the best scorers in the country if not the best and can also setup his teammates to score. Chris Thomas is fun to watch and is continuing to get better every time we see him.

Recently spoke with Zak Irving and he is having a great spring. Irving is getting recruited by many big name schools he listed offers from Illinois, IU, Purdue, Baylor, Miami(FL), Xavier, and interest from Michigan, Butler, Marquette, Georgetown, Stanford, Michigan State, VCU, Florida, Vandy, Depaul, Louisville, Tennessee.

Zak said distance played no factor in his recruitment. "I am looking for a school with great academics and a good relationship with players and coaches." Also style of play will play a big part too.

Zak has taken visits to Butler, Illinois, IU, Purdue, Baylor, and Michigan. As of right now no schools play a favorite in his decision.

Zak will be running with the Eric Gordon All Stars this summer.

Katin Reinhardt has officially parted ways with USC. Katin is rated #54 in the Rise Top 100 rankings. He helped lead Mater Dei to a state championship this past year and is also having a good spring.
One of the top shooting guards in the country Trevor Lacey, stayed home and committed to Alabama. Lacey chose Alabama over Kentucky, Kansas, Auburn, and Uconn.
After a week of consideration, Nick Faust committed back to Maryland. Faust was released his letter of intent once Gary Williams left Maryland. As Mark Turgeon took the job at Maryland, Faust needed to know Maryland was still the right choice for him.
N.C State has gotten a verbal from highly regarded shooting guard Torian Graham. Graham is an extremely athletic wing and capable of making big plays. He will now join Tyler Lewis for N.C State 2012 class.
It was a lot of debating on who would become #1, but Shabazz Muhammed earned. Muhammed had a strong year putting up huge numbers game in and game out and is continuing to do that this spring. He has a great motor and can score at will.

Following right behind is Andre Drummond, the #2 player in the country. He could very well be the next Amare Stoudemire with his length and athletic ability. He has huge potential and could very well be back at #1, but it’s going to take some work.

Coming in next is Isaiah Austin, who probably has even more potential then Drummond. Austin is 7’0 and is one of the most versatile players we’ve seen. He was a strong candidate for #1 as well.

Next is a 6’10 big man by the name of DaJuan Coleman. Coleman reminds us of Zach Randolph and is really tough to guard in the post against other opponents.

Rounding out the top five is the most unique player in the class Kyle Anderson. Anderson has the ability to play all of the positions on the court except Center. He can really create for his teammates and when he’s not doing that he will score.

Brandon Ashley comes in at #6. Ashley is one of the best players on the West Coast and every time we see him he shows why.

Big Movers are Devonta Pollard and Mitch McGary. Pollard comes in at #7 and is off to a huge spring after finishing off a huge high school year. McGary has just dominated the spring and he will be pushing for a top 5 spot in the next rankings if he can keep it up.

The top shooting guard, Ricardo Ledo coming in at #8 is just a huge scoring threat wants he steps on court and that is partly why he is so high in the rankings.

Rodney Purvis makes his first 2012 debate at #10.

Anthony Davis is the fastest rising player ever in our rankings and has the potential to be the next Kevin Durant. While Austin Rivers has made it clear he is the best scorer in the class of 2011. The new and final rankings are out.
Parker is probably the most talented player in the class of 2013 and his skill level is off the charts. Thomas has game and can score when he wants and Noel reminds me of a young Kevin Durant. Julius Randle is just a beast and is trying to hold on to that #1 spot.
Andre Drummond is off to a strong spring showing why he is the #1 player in the class, but DaJuan Coleman, Shabazz Muhammad, and Isaiah Austin are also making a strong case. Shabazz had a dominating junior season and was in the running for Gatorade Player of the Year honors. DaJuan is dominating at the EYBL this spring and looking to make a push for the top spot. Isaiah Austin is a versatile big man. He has potential that is out of this world and is up there will Andre Drummond. He has also made a case for #1.
E.C. Matthews, SG, The Family –Matthews had a great showing. He showed he could finish above the rim and can get to the basket at will. He's going to be one to watch in this class. He needs to work on his jump shot, but that will come.

Kevin Ferrell,PG,Indiana Elite-Kevin showed why he was one of the best guards in the country. He created for his team and got to the basket at will for a layup or to dish off to a teammate. His jump shot is improving and the way he runs the team will help him be dominate at the next level.

Eron Harris,PG,Indiana Elite- A long side Kevin Ferrell was Harris who also showed he could run the team as well. He showed great potential and has good height standing at 6'3" at the point guard position. He ran the team well and put in some key shots to help his team.

Hanner Perea, PF, Indiana Elite- Perea has a terrific motor he showed off his athleticism with finishing well above the rim and getting every rebound he could. He has a lot of potential and when his offense comes around he's going to be tough to stop.

Ron Patterson,SF, Indiana Elite- also played well he showed off his athleticism with a thundering dunk against All Ohio Red. Ron shows good defense and the ability to get to the basket. He's a good get for Indiana.

Jay Simpson, PF, Illinois Wolves –Simpson is more of a prospect right now. He has a nice body for a big man which helps him get rebounds by throwing his weight around. He's a good looking prospect his offensive game needs some improvement, but he's a good overall prospect.

Elijah Macon, PF, All-Ohio Red –Is a great leaper and really athletic. He is a great face up big man who will drive to the basket. His back to basket moves need work, but with his energy level and motor helps him be a high level player.

Ronnie Johnson,PG,Eric Gordon Central Stars-Purdue commit Ronnie Johnson showed why he was a good commit for Purdue. He showed he could knock down the three, get his team involved and his ability to lead look for his stock to go up in the rankings.

Sherron Dorsey-Walker, SG, REACH Legends –Sherron is a great wing prospect. He showed he can shoot the three well and also get to the basket. Sherron has the ability to score at will when he's hot. He led his team to a big win over Mac Irvin Fire.

Ray Lee, SG/PG, REACH Legends –Is a combo guard that likes to slash and get to the rim. He can play point or two, but looks to play better at two. He's really effective with the ball in his hands and showed he could hit some three's.

Gary Harris, SG, D3 Heat –Harris showed why he's among one of the best nationally. He is highly athletic and got the basket at will. Harris gets the job done and really helped lead his team.

Anrio Adams, SG, Seattle Rotary –Adams is a big time slasher who can really score. He needs work on his jump shot, but he has the ability to pass well and get to rim and score.

Marcus Paige, PG, All-Iowa Attack –Paige really knows how to run a team. He finds ways to score and set up his teammates for points. He really helped his stock rise with his play.

Adam Woodbury, C, All-Iowa Attack –Woodbury showed why he's listed with some of the top centers in the country. He has nice back to the basket moves, rebounds well, and is one of the better big man in a class loaded with big guys.

D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, SG, Spiece Indy Heat –Is not the most athletic player, but score at will. He creates his on baskets off one on one moves and has the ability to knock down shots.

Jodan Price, SG, The Family- Is a good looking wing prospect who can really knock down shots. Price stands at 6'7 and has the ability to create and shoot off the dribble. Price is skilled wing who can scores in bunches.

Matt Costello, PF, ACB/Bank Hoops-Is a skilled power foward who plays agressive and hard. He rebounds well and can also step out and shoot the three at times.

Phillip Nolan, PF, DTA-Runs the floor well and has great potential. He needs to add strength to against many of the top big guys, but has the ability to take other big guys to the hoop.

Mike Gesell, PG/SG, All-Iowa Attack- Just plays hard throughout the whole game. He can run the point for his team and then also knocked down some jumpers. He really helps his team and plays solid for All Iowa Attack.

Denzel Valentine,PG/SF, Michigan Mustangs- Denzel can run the team at times and really create for his teammates. He also does well in transition and finishing at the basket. He doesn't have a smooth game, but he gets it done.

Javontae Hawkins,SG, Michigan Mustangs- Is one of those players who is have a strong spring and is hard to guard. He finishes at the rim in transition and also knocks down the three.
The final rankings for the 2011 class is already in discussion. They will be coming out later this week or early next week along with the updated rankings for 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Tyrek Coger out of the class of 2013 has committed to Missouri. He is currently the #49 overall prospect in are rankings. Followed behind Coger is Ishmail Wainright. We really like Wainright it's a good get for Missouri. Ismail is already off to a good spring and has already improved his stock.

Duece Bello- With Quincy Miller out for the season Bello had to step up for his team agaisnt Christ the King. He helped his team get back in the game but it was not enough. He made some key steals and easily finished at the rim.

Mike Gilchrist-Gilchrist was unstoppable with a another big time performance against Bishop Gorman. He put up 27 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

Derrick Gordan- Gordan one of the most underrated guards is playing a big part in St. Patrick season and he should be a major contributor at Western Kentucky next year he had a great game with 24 points.

2012 Checklist

Omar Calhoun- Calhoun was excellent for Christ The King. He couldn't miss and led his team over Westchester Country Day. Omar did it all he rebounded, scored, and led his team to the win. He showed why he's one of the premier 2012 players.

Rosco Allen- Allen has a big upside being a 6'9 small forward who can create his own shot, score, and rebound well. He is one of the main contributors for this Bishop Gorman team and showed why he's getting recruited at a high level.

Shabazz Muhammed- It took him awhile for him to get it going, but when he did he showed why he's an elite prospect. He ended with 28 points in a losing effort.

Ben Carter- Carter has high major upside, but will dominate playing in a mid major conference either way this is kid is special. He being over shadowed by Alllen and Muhammed, but he's also a premier recruit.

2013

Isaiah Lewis- Is another guard that help Christ the King to the win. He has potential to be high major with his scoring and a chance to switch to the point guard position, but he's going to have to learn to create more. Bottom Line he's a good player who can score.
