(Player of The Week)Jared Sullinger led his team to knock off #1 Finlay Prep 53-52 in the ESPN Old Spice Classic. He scored 32 points and grabbed a total of 17 points showing why he is one of the best in his class and taking our WEEK 3 NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK.
Ohio State-bound senior DeShaun Thomas scored 28 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, dished out six assists and blocked five shots as Bishop Luers knocked off Concordia Lutheran 76-51 on Friday night.
Harrison Barnes led Ames with 26 points and 13 rebounds as the Little Cyclones hammered Waukegan (Ill.) 87-59 on Thursday night in a game televised on ESPN as part of the Old Spice High School Showcase.
Branden Dawson exploded early and often and finished with 40 points and 14 rebounds to lead the visiting Gary Lew Wallace (Indiana) past Milwaukee Vincent (Wisconsin) 95-74 on Saturday night.
Wayne Blackshear was at it again Saturday as the explosive off guard dropped 41 points collected 13 rebounds and had 5 blocked shots to lead Morgan Park (Illinois) to an 80-79 victory over Robinson (Illinois) to stay undefeated on the season.
